How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be booked online from the ‘Plan Your Visit’ page. Tickets can also be purchased on site with no reservation required. Booking online in October is recommended for shorter wait times.

What does admission price include?

Admission price includes a guided tour through The Bell Witch Cave and a guided tour through The John Bell Cabin.

How long do the tours last?

The Bell Witch Cave tour lasts approximately 40 minutes. The John Bell Cabin tour can last up to 30 minutes.

Is the Cave and Cabin open during rain?

No, the Cave and Cabin are closed during heavy rain. **Please note the Cave and Cabin may be closed AFTER heavy rains do to flooding in the Cave**

If it rains the previous night but is sunny during the day, will the Cave and Cabin be closed?
Possibly, please visit our website, call us, or check social media to check on our status. It is always a good idea to reach out before you come, especially if you are traveling a long distance. It is possible the cave is closed on a sunny day due to previous rain.
What do I need to wear?
The Historic Bell Witch Cave is 58 degrees year around. You may want to bring a light jacket even in summertime if these temperatures are uncomfortable. Rubber boots or sturdy toe-closed shoes are highly recommended as your feet may get wet.
Are there restrooms available?
We have portable restrooms available outside of our gift shop.
Is there lodging close by?
Currently, the closest town with a hotel is Springfield which is 10 miles away. Clarksville, which has more options, is 13-15 miles away.
